President Boric officially visits the United States and speaks for the first time at the UN General Assembly. He addressed the political crisis that Chile has been experiencing since October 2019 and the failure at the polls of the proposal for the New Constitution, reports Cooperativa.

Pulso Ciudadano Survey: 50.3% prefer to initiate a new constituent process, while 33.1% point to reforming the current Constitution. 16.6% advocate maintaining the current Magna Carta and 46.9% consider the process should begin immediately. CNN.
Frente Amplio proposals for the new constituent process: Inputs from the Bachelet project, technical committee, plebiscite in December 2023, and conventional elections 100% elected by citizens, reports CNN.
Presidents of the political parties agree to create a committee of experts for the new constitutional process. There is talk of three formulas: that the new organization has an advisory nature, but without decisive powers; that its composition gives guarantees to all sectors, and that its number of members is limited, says Ex-Ante
The first meeting of the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies for agreements on a new Constitution generates agreements on five points: to continue with the constituent process, create a body with 100% elected representatives, with gender parity, an expert committee, and exit plebiscite with mandatory vote.
